AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution Update for PC Versions of Terminator: Resistance

The PC version of Terminator: Resistance has just been updated to incorporate AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution.

Terminator: Resistance is one of seven games compatible with FidelityFX Super Resolution on launch, while more titles capable of utilising the technology will be coming soon.

FidelityFX Super Resolution utilises state-of-the-art upscaling technology to boost frame rates and ensure you are receiving the highest quality, highest resolution gaming experience possible. Even with demanding features such as ray-tracing turned on, FidelityFX Super Resolution should ensure a dramatically improved frame rate, while it will also assist in achieving maximum detail on laptop and on machines using older graphics cards.

There are four modes available, so that users can obtain the perfect desired balance between image quality and performance.

Terminator: Resistance ENHANCED is Out Now!

Terminator: Resistance ENHANCED has launched today for the PlayStation®5!

Terminator: Resistance ENHANCED is a new version of Terminator: Resistance which takes advantage of the advanced capabilities of the PlayStation®5 console. Jump back into the action with Jacob Rivers and experience his story from lowly private to hero of the Resistance once again, while enjoying improved framerates and graphical fidelity, faster load times, and the new hardware features of the DualSense™ controller. Terminator: Resistance ENHANCED will also contain updates brought to the title on PC, as well as the new INFILTRATOR MODE which sees players get under the skin of the series’ iconic T-800 series Infiltrator.

Players who own a PlayStation®4 copy of the game can also upgrade it to the PlayStation®5 version for free in Europe and America.

Update on Terminator: Resistance Free PS5 Upgrade

As you are likely aware, those who already own a PS4 copy of the game will be receiving a free upgrade for TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE ENHANCED on PS5 (Europe and America), and we are very grateful to SONY’s PlayStation teams for assisting us in this upgrade project.

However, as ENHANCED was developed after the release of the PS4 version, we have recently been informed that there is some additional work that needs to be done on SONY’s side to ensure that the upgrades from PS4 to PS5 happen smoothly.

As of the moment, we have not been given a final date on when SONY will be able to complete this. As a result, there is a strong possibility that the PS4 to PS5 upgrade will not be available for the launch of TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE ENHANCED on April 30th and will follow a short time later.
